SAMBAND is the path for couples. There is one retreat and no stages: a space in which two people can truly meet each other without losing themselves.

Is something missing? Write to us, we answer personally.
Do I need prior experience?
RAUKR and HYLR are deliberately designed as entry points. You need no prior experience with shamanic work and no special fitness, only the willingness to show yourself fully for three days. HJARNVEGR requires RAUKR or comparable depth, and ELDRMANNR requires RAUKR and HJARNVEGR.
How does the application work?
In three steps. First you send us a short message through the form: who you are and what moves you. We get back to you within 48 hours. Then we talk briefly by phone, without pressure, so we can get to know each other and clarify whether the retreat is right for you. If it feels right for both sides, you register bindingly. We choose participants deliberately, because not everyone is ready for this work, and that is okay.
Is this a wellness offer?
No. NORDVAKA is initiation work in the Nordic tradition: shadow, ancestors, nature and silence. There are no healing promises. A retreat does not replace therapy or medical treatment.
Are the retreats separate for men and women?
Yes. RAUKR, HJARNVEGR and ELDRMANNR form the men’s path, and HYLR is the first gate of the women’s path. The circles are separate, the depth and seriousness are the same.
Where do the retreats take place?
RAUKR and HYLR take place in Germany, for example in the Eifel (Hellenthal) and in Oberdürenbach. HJARNVEGR takes place in Germany, deep in nature. ELDRMANNR takes place in the Norwegian wilderness. The locations of current dates are listed on each retreat page.
What about my health?
Cold, breathwork and time in nature can be physically and emotionally demanding. Tell us in your application if you have health limitations, take medication or are currently under heavy emotional strain. Then we clarify together whether and how you can take part. In an acute crisis, please seek professional help first.
What does a retreat cost, and how are accommodation and meals handled?
Price, accommodation, meals and packing list differ by retreat. Write to us briefly about the date you are interested in, and you will receive all the details.
How does the waiting list work?
There are no fixed dates for HJARNVEGR and ELDRMANNR yet. Once the minimum number of participants is reached, we announce the first dates. If you join the waiting list, you will be the first to know. It is non-binding.
